I run a program that serves current and former foster youth with employment preparation and support.
The foundation curriculum we are based on is Bridge's Transitions.
The Andrus Foundation has seen great success in programs that utilize Transitions in working with foster youth preparing to leave the system.
Youth can easily grasp the framework and apply it in their personal lives when dealing with the abrupt and often unwanted changes they face.
What I find interesting is how managers/org leaders seem to have a much harder time utilizing this very basic concept of change management. It almost seems too simple for them to view credibly.
I am curious to see if anyone has used the Transitions framework with leadership staff or boards.
